Take Care Turkey is not a hospital and does not practise medicine. Medical treatment is provided by accredited partner hospitals and healthcare professionals. Partner hospitals may act as separate data controllers for the clinical and medical records they create.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use our website and services, we may collect:
- Identity and contact information: name, email address, telephone number, date of birth and similar contact details.
- Reservation and inquiry information: selected treatment, requested dates, reservation details, questions and preferences.
- Medical information: information voluntarily provided by you that is necessary to evaluate or coordinate a treatment request, including medical history, treatment-related information, photographs and documents.
- Travel information: flight details, arrival and departure information, airport information and other travel details necessary to coordinate your treatment journey.
- Communication information: messages and communications exchanged with Take Care Turkey, our care coordinators and authorized service providers.
- Payment information: information relating to deposits and payment status. Payment card details are processed by our payment service provider and are not stored directly by Take Care Turkey.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, security logs and information necessary to operate and protect our website and services.
- SMS consent information: your mobile telephone number, the date and method of your consent, and records necessary to demonstrate your SMS communication preferences.
3. How we use your information

- process and manage treatment inquiries and reservations;
- coordinate treatment with partner hospitals and healthcare professionals;
- arrange or coordinate appointments, transfers, accommodation and travel-related services where applicable;

4. SMS communications and consent
If you voluntarily provide your mobile telephone number and actively opt in to SMS communications, Take Care Turkey may send you service-related text messages concerning your inquiry, reservation, appointments, treatment coordination, travel coordination, account activity and customer support.
Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry, reservation and care journey.

You may reply STOP at any time to opt out of SMS messages. You may reply HELP for assistance.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase or treatment.
The SMS consent checkbox presented on our website is not pre-selected. The user must actively choose to provide SMS consent.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile telephone numbers or SMS opt-in consent information with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information and SMS consent data may only be disclosed to service providers acting on our behalf where necessary to operate and deliver the messaging service, maintain security, comply with law, or provide services requested by the user.

Healthcare providers may maintain their own medical records and privacy practices. Their processing of clinical information may be governed by their own privacy notices and applicable healthcare laws.
We do not sell personal information.
7. Service providers
We use third-party service providers to operate portions of our services.
Depending on the service being used, these may include providers for:

Take Care Turkey operates internationally and coordinates treatment in Türkiye for patients who may reside in other countries, including the United States.
As a result, personal information may be processed or transferred between the United States, Türkiye and other countries where our authorized service providers operate.
Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate contractual, organizational and technical safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
Medical information transferred to a partner hospital in Türkiye is shared only as necessary to evaluate, arrange or provide the treatment requested by the user.
9. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing requested services, maintaining appropriate business and transaction records, resolving disputes, maintaining security and complying with legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable legal requirements.
Where information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it where reasonably practicable.
Clinical records created and maintained by partner hospitals are subject to the hospital’s own retention requirements and applicable healthcare laws.
